Abstract

 The main objectives of this study were 1) to study contexts of leadership characteristics of Industrial and Community  Education College administrators in the Region of Lower Northern., 2) to study Dhamma principles and leadership theory concerning to leadership of Industrial and Community Education College administrators in the Region of Lower Northern., and 3) to present the model of Buddhist leadership development of Industrial and Community  Education College Administrators in the Region of Lower Northern.

Research methodology was a mixed research by means of applying qualitative.The analysis of data was carried out by using Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation and Factor Analysis by PCA (Principal Component Analysis). And qualitative studies were conducted with an in-depth interview being applied to the 25 samples who are group of administrators, group of Buddhist academics, group of leadership’s academics in in the Region of Lower Northern. In addition, Focus Group Discussion was done to confirm overall findings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The findings  are concluded as follows:

1. Influential Factors for Buddhist Leadership Development of Industrial and Community Education College Administrators in the Region of Lower Northern.,There are 4 factors ,1) Vision factors, 2) Skillfulness factors, 3) Relationship factors and 4) Moral Factors are 10 variables.

2. Dhamma principles and leadership theory concerning to leadership of Industrial and Community  Education College administrators in the Region of Lower Northern., must be having  wide vision, planning, deliberateness, decision-making, creativity, analysis and giving goal, new technology  skills ,experience, diligence, patience, helpfulness, positive thinking, friendliness, volunteer, honesty , oath, independent, decentralization, educational sponsor, administration by Dhamma principles, reasonability, assessment, reliability, acting to four Iddhipadas .

3. Buddhist leadership development of Industrial and Community Education College administrators in the Region of Lower Northern consists of  4  important factors, 1) Vision factors (Cakkhuma) : building vision up in organization ,ability, planning, training supporting, new ideas, ability in status analysis, helpfulness, obvious aim and dedicating for quality, 2) Skillfulness factors (Vidhuro): practicing in techniques and aptitudes, specialization, experience, Skillfulness, intention, preparation in work, good attitude, diligence and work accuracy, 3) Relationship factors (Nissayasampanno): civility, concentration, intention, Sociability, good emotional Management, friendliness, helpfulness, admiration, expression and working relationship, and 4) Moral factors (four Iddhipadas) : reasonable making a  decision, honesty, reliability, more education supporting, assessment, true  friend, solving problem and obstacle, decentralization,  deliberatenesscompactness and hearing other opinions.
